News

The time for the “1st World Fullcontact Karate Championship” is finally approaching.
After many years of preparation and working together with people all over the world, we are now taking a solid step toward the moment that will change the history of the karate world. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those involved in the effort leading up to the event, as well as to my fellow schools and organizations who supported it.
This tournament is not just a competitive tournament. This is an opportunity to demonstrate the power and value that Fullcontact Karate has as a universal language and a proud martial arts culture. And the key players in this are undoubtedly all of you.
For all the athletes, the daily training and challenges they have accumulated over the years will make this tournament a unique stage. The time from now until the day of the competition is the final adjustment period. Calm your mind, prepare your body, and prepare for the tournament in the best possible condition. No matter how strong your opponent is, the essence of Fullcontact karate is to never give up.
We would like to thank everyone involved in each country and region for traveling from far away. Please be careful on your way. It will truly be a moment that will be etched in the history of karate around the world when all of you, with the pride and spirit of karateka, gather together at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
Beyond the boundaries of organizations and borders, we become one.
Through this tournament, let’s spread the spirit of martial arts of “competing and improving each other” to the world.
And above all, no matter what your position is, please enjoy this tournament to your heart’s content. Let’s share this special time, filled with joy and tension, with our friends and make it the best and most memorable event.
We look forward to seeing you all in Tokyo.
Together, let us powerfully usher in the dawn of this new era.
